The Jerusalem Cross Bookmark is made with the replication of The large central cross of the Jerusalem. Cross is made up of four tau crosses joined at the bottoms.
With four Greek crosses positioned between the arms of the center cross, the five crosses of the Jerusalem Cross represent the five wounds Christ suffered while being crucified. Part of the armorial trappings of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, it was worn by Godfrey de Bouillon, the first ruler of Jerusalem following its liberation from the Moslems.
